This essay focuses on the 1968 student movement in which several students were massacred because of government repression. On the other hand, the character "Palinuro" of the Greeks is mentioned, who sacrifices himself for the survival of his comrades and Fernando del Paso with whom an analogy is made when young students had to be sacrificed for a "God of politics", so that the nation would be safe. It also refers to the Comedia del Arte in Mexico, which made people aware of what was happening in their environment and nation.
