Abstract

In this paper it is presented a dissertation on two of the most important concepts for ethic and political thought in our time: freedom and justice. That dissertation considers two opposite philosophical thoughts: Edmund Husserl and Thomas Hobbes thinking. The purpose of this is, on one side, to open the possibility to discuss the relationship between individualism and otherness nowadays; on the other side, to show that for both thinkers the civil state results from human activity and from history.
