In this paper I develop the central concepts of «land ethic» advocated by American philosopher Aldo Leopold. I argue that ecology and ethics should co-participate in the conception of the world, so that humans can see through the combined impact of the experimental results and new ethical concepts. This integrated approach to the relationship between human society, economy and natural systems, allows the achievement of social goals while preserving the natural world.Downloads
