In “Las canciones por Alexis”, Abigael Bohórquez reconfigures bucolic poetry by updating the themes, figures and characteristics of the traditional bucolic genre, according to its historical and cultural moment. Based on a transtextual and thematological analysis, according to the Palimpsests by Gérard Genette and Luz Aurora Pimentel's study on both subjects, the stylistic strategies that allow the reelaboration of the bucolic genre are demonstrated and prove that the genre can continue to function as a space for expression, resistance and resignification.
