Samanta Schweblin is one of the most renowned authors on the contemporary literary scene, yet critical analysis of her work is still in development. For this reason, her interviews and testimonies have been frequently used to seek possible keys to interpreting her stories, which leads to other problems, such as the way in which the author's testimonies condition and determine the reading, leading to the question of whether the texts can be defined even before the reader encounters them.
