This work seeks to expose the role of music within Mexican culture, mainly about danzón and its investment in society. Likewise, the study reflects on the importance that music has traditionally had within societies, even when they are in armed conflict, music functions as an escape in which the dualities of the human being are opposed and lived in an artistic way. In this sense, research abounds on the historical and cultural processes that marked the arrival and permanence of danzón in Mexico, its transformation and its functioning.
