Abstract

The present work reflects on the symbolism that the ball game brings with it. The author deals with key concepts to understand the thought of the Nahua culture, analyzing its operation within the game, for this purpose he refers to the myths and stories of the Mexican pre-Hispanic culture, he exposes himself to the particularities of the ball game. Likewise, it exposes the principles of the ball game and its symbolism in religious and mystical terms. The work seeks to establish a dialogue between the cultural aspects and the ritual expressions that were manifested in the game.
