Rethinking history from an interdisciplinary perspective. The case of cultural history

The study analyses the relationship of history with the different social sciences, reflecting on the role of history and its multiple links with literature, sociology and anthropology, arguing for the possibility of understanding society and its history through cultural and social reflections. The author engages in a dialogue with them to expose the difficulties that can arise, as well as the factors that enrich cultural research from an interdisciplinary perspective. Finally, the author establishes four key points to encompass the importance of historical studies based on their relationship with culture and the social sciences.
