The work consists of an analysis of the historical document that represents the photographic image of the event held on November 24, 1969, at the Colegio de San Nicolás, heart of the Universidad Michoacana, in which the candidate for the presidency of the Republic Luis Echeverría Álvarez came to talk with the Nicolaitan students in the main patio of the historic building. The historical context in which the event took place and the objective of this photograph and its dissemination are reviewed, as well as the development and results of these events.
