Abstract

The present article describes the process to carry out an anthropological research on rock art manifestations. The first reflection includes three aspects for the beginning of the research: the choice of the object of study, the justification of the choice of the object and its geographical location.
In the second reflection, it is stated that the research time will depend on the researcher and the technological resources available. This stage is based on conjectures and possible explanations based on analogies. The third reflection establishes that the researcher must have professional ethics in all aspects of the study he or she is conducting.
