This work points out the reflections that have taken place in contemporary historiography, especially with regard to the "historiographic turn" where a change in historical analyses can be observed with respect to the perspectives of linguistics and hermeneutics, as well as the relationship of history with other social sciences such as: sociology, philosophy and politics.
History began to focus on social groups that had been marginalized from historical studies, in which culture and everyday experiences are investigated. On the other hand, linguistic theory recognized the importance of language in the constitution of various elements of societies.
