We will talk about its origins, who was its precursor and why he did it. Then we will move on to the people who continued with this field, and how there were against this type of history, and what were their arguments for no one to continue with this field. Then we will move on to Niall Ferguson who tells us about the benefits they have, both for researchers and for teachers who want to teach history in a different and interesting way to their students. And finally, we will move on to the most important works, which were studied by both critics and historians; some examples will be Man in the Castle, Homeland, The Years of Rice and Salt, among others.
