The following work is a compilation of various historiographic resources that critically address the topic of the history of the charro suit. First, a search has been carried out for the studies that preceded the Mexican charro suit (the Salamanca suit and the Novohispano suit). The Mexican charro suit is an authentic archetype, likewise, the changes that have occurred since the horse arrived in America until it became one of the most important national symbols of Mexico will be analyzed, as well as the various types of clothing that exist, used at work and at parties.
