The following proposal lies in evidencing the existing bridge between
fantastic literature that confronts realism, merges in the work of Franz Kafka and Salomo
Friedländer, and emanates from romanticism, a root borrowed from Poe, using the
illustrative contributions of Alfred Kubin in the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka,
Wolfgang von Goethe, and Salomo Friedländer, making it a universe of fragments that
maintain their singularity through a tradition creating a bridge that allows the survival
of this a through of different epochs.
