This article pretends to make a historiographic balance of the most significant works made about the research branch of witchcraft. Likewise, it wants to create a discussion between the authors so it can allow a better comprehension of the topic at hand. We will work with authors at a global, national, and local scale (with a particular approach to Mexico), with the purpose of understanding the different nuances with which the topic has been studied; similarly, we will analyze the studies made from the fifteenth century to the twentieth century, with the intention of observing how the temporality affects the study itself.
