Abstract

Within the literary work of Luis González de Alba, The days and years, we find a part of the testimonies based on the reconstruction of the memories of the participants of one of the moments that still hurt Mexican society: the Student Movement of 1968, which will be put under the perspective of the theory of memory. The elements that make up the collective memory suggest being reinterpreted from the present where it is still vivid, since it resists oblivion and forms part of contemporary history in which the wounds of the past have not yet been healed.
