Relations between Monterrey's business community and the political-economic government

The purpose of this paper is to show the emergence and the first transformations of the business group in Monterrey and its links with the government, and how the latter made modifications in its internal structure to favor the development of the economy of the city and the country. For this purpose, we start from the beginning of the 20th century until the promulgation of the 1917 constitution, since it is considered a point in which both sectors, the private and the governmental, underwent significant changes, which are explained and developed in this study.
