Abstract

Before the constant debates of interpretation, the different forms to interpret and tell the story are inspected, even in some cases transmute their understanding to a partisan or ideological polemic. The Russian Revolution is taken as an example at the beginning to later explain the historiographical situation from its application to the Mexican Revolution. This debate intervenes between revisionist positivism and revolutionism, treating the issue of historical perception.
