Abstract

This article describes the foundations, vices and challenges of the Mexican university. It also mentions that the problems must be faced quickly. The main conflicts are the following: the apathy of the students, the mediocrity of the professors, the absence of renewed knowledge and the erroneous hierarchy set by the university authorities. Some measures are set out with which the vices or errors exposed in this research could be vindicated, which above all express the importance of universities being responsible institutions, focused on preparing the knowledge necessary for students to perform satisfactorily in the area of work.
