Abstract

The theory of reception analyzes the processes of meaning of the other in the construction of historical knowledge and the results it has produced in history. The ability to do so helps us to reconstruct expectations, life experiences and socio-cultural reality. Taking into account this concept of otherness, we can recognize the social place of the text; that is, the perception of the reader and the community of interpretation.
