The focus of this article is to show the relationship that exists between the Mexican historical context of 1910 and the process of creation of the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico, together with the life of the teacher Amalia Hernández, the changes in social ideas of the year 1960 and the Revolutionary Mosaic, specifically the dance of “La Adelita”. For the analysis of these aspects, the video of the presentation of this dance was taken as a basis, as well as the following sources: the magazine Casa del Tiempo of the UNAM, Choreographies of the Nation by Lilia Torres, The Folkloric Ballet of Mexico by Sydney Hutchinson and The literary folklore in Mexico by Herón Martínez Pérez.
