Contrast Of The Psychobiological Phenomena That Occur In The Placebo And Nocebo Effect, From A Neurobiological Perspective

Abstract

Beliefs have a great impact on human biology, as example we have the little studied psychobiological phenomena such as the placebo effect and the nocebo occur. This research aims to provide relevant information from the presentation of results that arise from the contrast of studies. Thus, by means of a tour, it was found that the neurobiological differences lie not in the origin of both, but in that although the areas involved are the same, the regions that are subsequently activated are not; In addition, the neuronal colonies involved and the secretion of neurotransmitters also differ. In turn, the delimitation point that separates both phenomena was established occurs when the regions of the areas involved are activated.
