Bioclimatic Design in today’s architecture

This article presents evidence of the responsibility of the construction industry in environmental damage, especially regarding the urban environment. To address this challenge, this paper proposes recovering one of the main characteristics of the architecture: environmental and climatic adaptation. The lack of knowledge about the site where architecture is projected has provoked the systematization of buildings resulting in the unnecessary waste of energy to cool and heat spaces. Rethinking architectural education becomes necessary, taking as a starting point the main principles of bioclimatic design.
