Our study aims to explore the place of the Myth of Paradise in the work of Chilean thinker Gastón Soublette, highlighting the ‘fall’ as its fundamental problem. Organized into six sections, this paper moves from Soublette’s personal experience with the Paradise toward the ultimate implications of Elohim as the central figure of a fall identified with an increasing and pro-progress deployment of human power.
