The appearance of an illness in the life of an individual is always a source of anxiety and worry for him and those around him: that is why he goes to meet the caregiver. The main objective of this meeting is to take care of the patient to improve their health. Despite the multitude of reflections on this topic, the care relationship still raises questions. One of the ethical questions that the protagonists of this relationship ask themselves is how to do the right thing? The object of this study is to see how this singular encounter can be thought about from Kantian questions: What can I know? What ought I to do? For what may I hope? In fact, these can be considered as an analytical tool to better understand the care relationship. This work proposes starting from these Kantian questions to better apprehend and understand the medical rationality that unfolds in the patient-caregiver relationship where the two protagonists are all reasonable beings.
