Abstract

The present investigation´s objective was to calculate the economic impact in Mexico´s agricultural sector basing the investigation in climate change models proposed by international organizations. The agricultural economic sector is important in Mexico like it is important in much more countries around the world because of the impact it has in the population´s meals and the exportation of Mexican agricultural products and its derivates.

The calculation of the economic impact was estimated using climate change models proposed by the NCAR and the CSIRO and the crop yield projection software AquaCrop developed by the FAO. Economic impact was measured by the variation in the GDP percentage that represents the agricultural economic sector in Mexico.
