Abstract

The arrival of the Mexican railway to Aguascalientes provided, without a doubt, a reason to exist for the entity, except for the fact that it was founded with the purpose of protecting valuable products and goods that circulated in the republic. It’s possible that the economic and commercial life of Aguascalientes has intensified, and, at the same time, the customs and work culture of a society still imbued with rural habits have been transformed. Through the study of primary and secondary sources, three cases of industries influenced by the railway are analyzed. Finally, the result of this industrial progress occurred to the extent that positive and negative factors affect the finances and manufacturing of the industry in the locality, the arrival of the railroad influenced the majority in a positive way.
