Abstract

This writing makes an analysis and interpretation of a work of transition between the orthodox militancy and the Marxist heterodoxy in José Revueltas, in the light of a contrast with literary references such as Cervantes and Proust, and in the context of the disenchantment that the Stalinist dictatorship and its excesses caused in the Marxist militancy. The analysis of errors allows the realization of a hermeneutics in which the literary tradition, the political and cultural analysis, and the archeology of the subject are solved in a truncated teleology, product of the disappointment and the generalization of the alignment, in a cosmos narrative that fully learns a world in which the Marxist utopia has turned into a dystopia
