Abstract

By incorporating history as a subject in the 1993 Basic Education Plan of Studies, it implied for the teacher a resignification of conceptions about the teaching-learning processes, the disciplinary contents and his professional work. This work contemplates these questions, when describing the elements associated with the teaching task, the conception that they have about History, the importance given to it in the student's formation and the ways of teaching it, to establish its relationship with the development of the notion of Time History of the 6th grade students, manifested in the levels of conceptualization (chronology, simultaneity and continuity).
